The movie was filmed in and around Marianna and Jackson County. Filming locations included Florida Caverns State Park, Merritt's Mill Pond and El Rio Restaurant. Some local folks even made the cast as extras.
I'll post more on how to see it as it is released. Expected rating is no worse than PG-13.

El Rio burnt down !!! Movie seems like a flop... Like the movie rubber.. It makes no sense.
It will make a profit. Its just a campy horror movie. Everyone wants Academy award winning films but we have to start with the small ones to show we can provide the locations, services and technicians needed for filming. More are coming. And El Rio reopened on the west end.
Were any locals hired as cast or crew?
Oh yeah, there are quite a few local folks in it. Edd Sorenson did all of the underwater footage for them. Local restaurants catered the cast and crew. And they contracted with film teams from Panama City. Good economic impact all around.
What do you mean rubber made no sense?
I wondered about that too so maybe he will explain.
