Here are photos from today's 2nd day of filming of the new horror movie
Sharkansas Womens Prison Massacre.
The film stars Traci Lords (
Cry-Baby,
Zac and Miri), Dominique Swain (
Face/Off,
Lolita) and Christine Nguyen (
Get Him to the Greek) and is being filmed at locations around Marianna and Jackson County, Florida.
The movie tells the story of a "fracking" accident during oil exploration that opens a crack in the earth. A swarm of giant prehistoric sharks come up from the depths of the planet and surface around a prison for women in Arkansas. The film obviously seeks to capitalize off last year's
Sharknado phenomenon.
